Step up toilet lets you squat with western toilet

This sounds like a dilemma but all you really need is a small stool that you put under your feet as you sit on a conventional western toilet and you have the same benefits as a squat toilet. Enjoy!

Hello Mehta,
One way I could think of right now is to approach a steel fabricator to fabricate a squarish block with a hole drilled in the centre to accommodate the legs. The blocks must be of the correct height and size and weight to ensure safety and stability.

New toilet too tall
by: Manmohan Mehta

Hi David, I bought a squatting toilet from you in March 2011 (?) and was still using it until we had to change our toilet. The new toilet is too tall to accommodate it even after replacing the bottom tubes supplied with the original purchase. Please advise. Thanks

Using a stool and squatting
by: David

Yes, placing a stool would appear to solve the problems related to sitting toilets. However, the effect is just not the same as the natural squatting position, where the thighs pressed against the abdomen.

This, as explained in detail on this page: https://www.toilet-related-ailments.com/squatting.html , has the effect of enabling complete and effective evacuation of waste from the bowels.
